PhoneDr started out of customer frustrations when they came in to local cell phone stores with broken phones. They had two options either file a claim with insurance company and pay the high deductible or purchase a phone at retail cost ranging from $300 to $700.

As of December 18, 2015, PhoneDr is being re-branded to Fix Ur Crack.

As of June 2018 a second location was opened in Dover, DE.

As of Jan 2020 Fix Ur Crack is an full UPS shipping center and Access Point

As of May 2020 Fix Ur Crack offers large scale printing up to 54″ wide, posters, photos, signs, and more.

As of June 2020, Fix Ur Crack is a Wish Pick Up center.
